On July 10, Daejeon Technopark hosted a “5G-A Open Test Lab Expert Seminar” at its Space and ICT Industry Center for ICT-related companies. The event was part of a Ministry of Science and ICT project to establish and operate an AI-based open 5G-A convergence service testbed. The seminar focused on the latest R&D trends in next-generation mobile communication technologies, such as 5G-Advanced (5G-A) and AI RAN. AI RAN, a core 5G-A technology, uses artificial intelligence to analyze network traffic and automatically optimize resources, significantly enhancing performance and paving the way for 6G. Daejeon Technopark plans to continue supporting local companies with regular expert seminars to help them stay ahead of the latest technological trends.
