Its mission includes monitoring damage from <strong>natural disasters<\/strong> like floods and wildfires, as well as changes in vegetation and land cover, to advance the province&#8217;s climate policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gutenify-section-f302cce0-cdbf-11f0-83a2-6594f60a997b\"><strong>Future Plans<\/strong>: Gyeonggi Climate Satellites 2 and 3 are scheduled for sequential launches next year and in 2027.
